    About Nextdc Ltd

    NEXTDC Ltd (ASX: NXT) operates data centres in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. It focuses on co-location services to local and international organisations as well as interconnectivity between enterprises, global cloud, ICT providers, and telecommunication networks.

    NEXTDC provides physical centres, cooling, power, and security services and offers optional technical and project management support. The company’s tenants store their servers within the data centres where they can connect to each other, to and between global public cloud providers, and telecommunication networks via physical and virtual connections.

    Colocation services allow enterprises to enhance their data security and also speed up their data transfer. NEXTDC services tenants of all sizes. At December 2022, NEXTDC had more than 1,700 customers.

    Dr Clark is a technologist, businessman and scientist, with corporate and Board experience in Australia, the USA and Europe. Dr Clark was previously on the Board of the ANZ Banking Group where he chaired the Board's Technology Committee and was a member of the Risk, Governance and Human Resources Committees. Dr Clark has international business experience and a career in micro-electronics, computing and communications. He was previously Principal of Clark Capital Partners, a US based firm that has advised internationally on technology and the technology marketplace. During his career, Dr Clark also held senior executive roles at IBM, News Corporation and Loral Space and Communications. At IBM he was a senior scientist in their Research Division in NY. While at News Corporation and Loral Space and Communications, Dr Clark was Chairman and/or on the Board of a number of wholly owned subsidiaries including Globalstar, SatMex, Skynet, Loral Space Systems, Kesmai, Etak and others. Prior to his time at Zayo Group and Equinix, Steve held senior leadership positions at Hewlett Packard (2005- 2006) which included serving as its Senior Vice President - Worldwide HP Services; Lucent Technologies Inc.
