TheĀ S&P/ASX 200 IndexĀ (ASX: XJO) is on course to record a small gain. In afternoon trade, the benchmark index is up 0.1% to 7,344.1 points.

Four ASX shares that are rising more than most today are listed below. Hereā€™s why they are climbing:

AMP Ltd (ASX: AMP)

The AMP share price is up 3.5% to $1.14. This follows the release of the financial services companyā€™s half-year results. AMP reported a 31% increase in revenue from continuing operations to $1,424 million and a 23.9% lift in underlying net profit after tax to $57 million.

Boral Limited (ASX: BLD)

The Boral share price is up 6% to $4.64. Investors have been buying the building materials companyā€™s shares following the release of a solid full-year result. Boral reported a 17% increase in revenue to $3,460.6 million and the quadrupling of its underlying net profit after tax to $142.7 million. Management said that this was driven by ā€œvolume growth across all our products, coupled with a disciplined approach to price, cost, and cash.ā€

Cettire Ltd (ASX: CTT)

The Cettire share price is up 19% to $3.34. This morning, this online luxury retailer revealed that it delivered very strong growth in FY 2023. Cettire reported an 87% jump in gross revenue to $539.2 million and a profit of $15.97 million. The latter compares to a loss a year earlier. Pleasingly, management revealed that its sales more than doubled during the month of July.

Lake Resources N.L. (ASX: LKE)

The Lake Resources share price is up 24% to 20.5 cents. This is despite there being no news out of the beaten-down ASX lithium share. However, prior to today, its shares were down 87% over the last 12 months. This could mean that short sellers are now buying shares to close positions or bargain hunters are swooping in.
