It’s been a bumpy, yet overall positive, trading day for the S&P/ASX 200 Index (ASX: XJO) and ASX 200 stocks so far this Tuesday. At the time of writing, the ASX 200 has added a decent 0.16%, bringing the index up to just over 7,320 points.

That was after the index climbed as high as 7,342 points earlier this morning (a gain of around 0.4%). But despite these modest, if welcome, gains, the ASX 200 has seen no fewer than seven stocks smashing new 52-week highs today. Let’s discuss them.

7 ASX 200 stocks at new 52-week highs today

First up we have plumbing supplies company Reece Ltd (ASX: REH). Reece shares have hit a new 52-week high of $19.96 a share today. At present, the company is up a pleasing 3% at $19.92 a share. That puts Reece’s 2023 gains so far at a whopping 44.2%.

Then we have ASX 200 packaging stock Orora Ltd (ASX: ORA) to check out. Orora shares have had a bumpy day, and are currently down by 0.14% at $3.612 a share. But it was a different story this morning, with the Orora share price hitting a new high watermark of $3.64. This company is up 27.3% year to date in 2023.

James Hardie Industries plc (ASX: JHX) is our next stock worth a look. James Hardie stock has gained a massive 14.4% at present to $46.63 a share. This comes after the building and construction materials company reported its latest earnings this morning, which investors are clearly delighted with.

James Hardie shares topped out at a new 52-week high of $47.45 a share earlier this session. That leaves the company up a massive 78.4% this year.

ASX 200 gaming stock Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL) is also worth a look. Aristocrat shares have vaulted 0.832% higher at the time of writing to $41.15 a share. But earlier, we saw Aristocrat hit $41.30, which is the company’s new 52-week high. This could be a result of some recent love from ASX brokers. This latest pricing puts Aristocrat shares up 34.5% year to date.

Then we have Brevlle Group Ltd (ASX: BRG). Breville shares spiked this morning, clocking in with a new 52-week high of $23.78. This appliance company’s shares have since cooled and are presently enjoying a 0.34% rise at $23.40 a share. But that still leaves Breville with a gain of 25.3% in 2023 so far.

Our penultimate ASX 200 stock at a new 52-week high today is ASX tech darling WiseTech Global Ltd (ASX: WTC). WiseTech shares are another example of a bump rise today. The company is presently going for a flat $88 each, up a decent 0.51%. But earlier today, we saw WiseTech rise as high as $88.69.

That’s not only a new 2-week high, but an all-time record high to boot. WiseTech stock has now gained a healthy 79% since January.

Finally, let’s discuss News Corporation (ASX: NWS). Rupert Murdoch’s media conglomerate has enjoyed a strong session this Tuesday and is sitting at $31.36 a share at the time of writing, up 0.74% for the day. Earlier this session, we saw News Corp shares climb as high as $31.43 each, which is the new high watermark for the past 12 months. This gain puts News Corp up 16% year to date.
